Overview

Hides GIFs in YouTube comments.

Tired of GIFs taking over YouTube comments? GIF Hider for YouTube keeps the comment section about the conversation. Choose how GIFs are handled: • Show — GIFs appear as usual. • On click — GIFs are hidden behind a "Show GIF" button, so you open only the ones you want. • Hide — comments containing a GIF are hidden entirely. A GIF in a top-level comment hides the whole thread with its replies. The extension only runs on youtube.com and only needs permission to save your settings.
