Snipkit
Overview
Expand short triggers like /sig into full text. Your snippets stay on this computer.
Type /thanks and press Space. Snipkit replaces that trigger with the full note. If the snippet needs a name or a date, it asks, then puts the caret where you keep typing. /sig, /thanks, /meet, /intro, and /now are ready immediately. Add your own triggers in the library. Start them with / ; or \. {{date}}, {{time}}, and {{cursor}} fill in on their own. Any other {{label}} becomes a question. Command-Z puts the trigger back. Escape closes the question form. Select text on a page and choose Save selection to Snipkit. The library stays in Chrome on this computer. You can export it as a file. Sync across browsers is not available yet. Snipkit looks at the characters you just typed so it can spot a trigger. It does not save a history of what you type.
