GhostLayer is a free, open-source privacy extension that puts you back in control of your identity online — with zero accounts, no telemetry and no external servers. Tracker Blocking Automatically blocks requests to known advertising, analytics, session-recording and social-tracking domains using Manifest V3 declarativeNetRequest rules. Open the popup to see exactly which trackers were blocked on the current page, and allow individual trackers or pause protection on any site. Fingerprint Masking Generates one consistent fake device profile per browser session (OS, User-Agent, screen resolution, CPU cores, device memory, WebGL renderer, canvas noise, battery status). The HTTP User-Agent header and client hints are rewritten to match, so there is no mismatch for sites to detect. Your real browser engine, language and timezone are kept. Data Poisoning Sends lightweight decoy interest events (page views, scroll depth, generic interests) to analytics scripts the page already loaded. This makes the tracker's profile of you less accurate over time. No fake conversions, purchases or sign-ups are ever generated. Burner Emails Create disposable email addresses (Mail.tm, Guerrilla Mail, Mailnesia) with one click. A built-in inbox lets you read messages, detect verification codes and delete addresses when you're done — all without giving your real email to any website. A convenient button appears next to email fields on web pages. User Control Every protection can be toggled independently. GhostLayer can be paused per site. All data stays on your device.
