GhostJob helps you review a LinkedIn job posting before you apply. Click Scan on a supported job page to see a 0–100 Trust Score and the evidence behind it. A higher score reflects stronger public verification and fewer flagged listing patterns; it cannot confirm an employer’s private hiring plans. The scan checks signals such as reposting, listing age when available, compensation clarity, location and work arrangement, specific responsibilities, and whether a related role appears on an employer-associated careers site. Missing or inaccessible sources are marked as uncertain. For signed-in Pro accounts, automatic investigation can look for official employer sources and compare a LinkedIn listing with up to three employer postings. It checks responsibilities, qualifications, seniority, location eligibility, employment type, and requisition ID. Findings include source links and coverage limits when available. Free accounts can continue using the standard Trust Score. GhostJob does not guarantee that a position is open, that an employer intends to hire, or that an applicant will get an interview. The Trust Score evaluates available evidence about the posting. Privacy: When you scan, the extension sends details from the selected LinkedIn job, including its description, to the GhostJob API. Eligible Pro investigations may also process job evidence with OpenAI and TypeSafe AI as described in our Privacy Policy. The extension does not read LinkedIn messages or browse unrelated pages in the background.
