GhostHunter - Job Ad Red Flag Detector
2 ratings
)Overview
Spots red flags (ghost jobs, buzzwords, stale posts) and green flags (salary, remote, benefits) on Indeed, Seek, LinkedIn and more.
Spot ghost jobs before you apply. GhostHunter checks the job listings you look at and marks the warning signs and the good signs right on the page, so you can skip stale, vague ads and focus on jobs worth applying for. Red flags it catches: • Listings that have been up for weeks (you choose the cut-off) • Burnout language like "rockstar" or "work hard, play hard" • Very short listings that don't say what the job is Green flags it finds: • Pay that's actually listed • Remote and hybrid roles • Benefits such as health cover, leave and parental pay Where it works: • Automatically on Indeed, LinkedIn, Seek, Glassdoor and other major job boards • On any other job ad with the "Scan this page" button. Highlight part of a page to check just that post • Optionally on company careers pages. This is off by default and only asks for extra access if you turn it on You're in control: • Turn each check on or off • Set how old a listing has to be before it counts as stale • Pause everything with one switch Private by design: everything runs in your browser. No account, no servers, no tracking. GhostHunter is an independent tool and isn't affiliated with any job board.
