A: GhostJob analyzes signals visible in the job listing itself: days since posted, number of similar concurrent listings from the same company, description length, and specificity of requirements. It does not access any internal data from the job boards. Q: Does GhostJob guarantee a listing is real or fake? A: No. The Ghost Score is an indicator, not a verdict. A high score means the listing has characteristics commonly seen in ghost postings. You should still evaluate listings independently. Q: Does it slow down job board pages? A: GhostJob runs analysis asynchronously after the page loads. Score calculation is fast (under 100ms per listing) and does not delay page rendering. Q: What job boards does it support? A: Currently Indeed, LinkedIn Jobs, and Glassdoor. Support for additional boards (ZipRecruiter, Monster) is on the roadmap. Q: Does GhostJob access my LinkedIn profile or send applications? A: No. GhostJob reads only job listing content (publicly visible on the page) and does not interact with your profile, messages, or application history.
