Copy as Context

Copy a compact semantic representation of the current page for LLM chats.

Copy as Context turns the current web page into structured text that you can paste into an AI chat or save as a local file. Use it to help an AI assistant understand a complex interface, explain what you can change on a page, or summarize the comments currently loaded in a discussion. Features: • Export page context as Semantic Text or Markdown. • Choose from four compression profiles: Without, Detailed, Compact, and Maximum. • Copy the result to your clipboard or save it as a UTF-8 file. • Use optional credential redaction, enabled by default. • View character counts, approximate token counts, and context reduction. • Save your preferred export settings locally. How to use: 1. Open the page you want to capture. 2. Open Copy as Context and choose a format and compression profile. 3. Click Copy, then paste the result into your AI chat. 4. Ask a question about the page. All page processing happens locally in your browser. The extension does not send captured content to the developer and does not include an AI service, analytics, or advertising. No account or API key is required. In Chrome, the extension briefly attaches the debugger to read the page's accessibility structure after you request an export, then detaches it. Capture includes accessible content available on the page at that moment. It does not perform OCR, automatically load all comments, or guarantee complete page coverage. Browser-internal and protected pages may block capture. Credential redaction may miss sensitive information. Review the exported text before sharing it. Token counts are estimates, and captured page text should be treated as source material rather than instructions for an AI assistant.
