Alternative handicap metrics for GHIN.com scores to help you get more out of the scores you are posting to GHIN.

Gives more insight to your handicap number provided by GHIN. Yes handicap is a pretty solid metric for a competitive setting, but what if you just want to look at your game and try to improve. This extension takes all the data that GHIN already has about your rounds and presents it in ways that are more meaning full to you as the day to day / average (or not so average) golfer. We use the side panel to have more room to show everything we want to see. Load the GHIN page with the extension up and we automatically pull in the data GHIN is already using to populate their page. You can compare your friends (or anyone else you can find on GHIN) by simply clicking into their profile in "Golfer Lookup". All dad is directly from GHIN and no data leaves your computer. We do use local storage in your browser to access some data easier; you can also just clear that out whenever you want using the button on the extension. Here are some other things you can do: - view longer trends through charts - view your hot and cold streaks (recent or all time) - see how consistent your last 20 rounds are - give you more insight to your next round. what do I need to shoot to improve my handicap? what is the worst possible outcome of this round on my handicap? what am I expected to shoot given my current handicap and the tees I plan to play? is my current handicap a good representation of how i'm playing now? (the "Next Round Helpers" is my favorite feature) - view a better chart of your scoring rounds (last 20) - if this isn't enough you can export all data found on the site and do something with it yourself NOTE: To get the most out of this, you will need an active GHIN account. I hope to see someone post a screenshot showing they are the most consistent golfer out there (its nearly impossible to get 100% score given the calculation we did).
