Relay — Tab Recorder for AI Agents
Overview
Record a tab with your voice, clicks, console and network into one local file to hand to your AI agent.
Show your AI agent the bug instead of typing it out. Click Record, use the page and talk about what is wrong, circle things with the pen, click Stop. You get one .zip file to drag into Claude Code, ChatGPT, Cursor or any agent that reads files. The file holds: • a timeline of what you said, clicked and marked, and what failed, in time order • screenshots of the tab at each moment, the pen's ink included • the tab's video and audio, plus your voice and an on-device transcript • every click, scroll and DOM change (rrweb) • console messages and errors • network requests: method, URL, status and timing • a short guide that tells the agent how to read it Agents read the timeline and the screenshots for a fraction of the cost of watching video, so they see what you saw and hear what you meant. The pen: turn it on in the recording control and draw on the page. The ink fades after a few seconds, but the recording keeps what you circled and the text under it. Private by design • Everything stays on your computer. No account, no server, no analytics. • The transcript runs on your computer. Chrome downloads its language pack once. • Form inputs are masked. URL query values, headers, cookies and bodies are never stored. • Chrome shows a "debugging this browser" bar while Relay records, so you always know. Relay is a free personal project by Philipp Streicher. It is not affiliated with any company.
