GHC — Global Header Control is a Chrome extension for developers who need repeatable control over HTTP requests. Edit request and response headers, test cookies, redirect matching URLs, and organize rules into reusable profiles. Control request behavior • Set, append, or remove request and response headers within Chrome's supported operations. • Use save-time variables such as {{uuid}} and {{timestamp}} in header values. • Inspect the dynamic rules compiled for the browser. Target the right requests • Match URLs with contains patterns or Chrome-compatible regular expressions. • Include or exclude request domains and page domains. • Filter by HTTP method and resource type. • Scope rules to a tab, tab group, or browser window. Tune cookies, policies, and redirects • Configure request cookies and Set-Cookie response values. • Edit Content Security Policy directives. • Redirect matching source URLs to a target URL, including regex-based sources. Build reusable workflows • Create, name, duplicate, reorder, and toggle multiple profiles. • Undo and redo edits, or schedule a profile to turn off automatically. • Save changes automatically with draft protection while editing. • Export profiles to JSON, then import by replacing or merging configurations. • Keep profiles local by default, with optional Chrome storage sync. Use GHC for API debugging, localization checks, cache testing, redirect previews, and repeatable development setups. Start with a profile, add a modification, and choose the requests it should affect. The extension interface is in English. Header, cookie, and redirect behavior follows Chrome extension API restrictions.
