GglKnow — X Post Saver

Save loaded X posts and articles locally as HTML, JSON, or Obsidian-ready Markdown. Read and organize in English or Chinese.

Save the Twitter/X posts you want to keep as local files, then read and organize them on your computer. Version 2.3.1 • Save the currently loaded text of posts, long articles, and threads in HTML, JSON, and Markdown. • Preserve paragraphs, lists, tables, and inline image order. • Export Markdown with Obsidian properties and relative media paths. Keep the Markdown file and its media folder together. • Browse saved HTML/JSON in a three-column local reader. Search text, authors, and tags; filter by author, tag, collection, images, or threads. • Add tags and collections, and import/export metadata backups compatible with older versions. English and Simplified Chinese are supported in the reader and guide, with a language selector. The popup and capture controls follow Chrome's interface language. How to use 1. Open the extension popup and choose a download subfolder, export formats, and whether to download images. 2. On X, manually expand the content you need, then click Collect. 3. Open the local reader and select the complete saved folder, including its media subfolder. Select the folder again after reopening the reader. Collection limits Only content already loaded on the page is saved. Threads may be incomplete. Collection is user-triggered: no automatic scrolling, expansion, or private X API calls. Saves share a five-second interval across tabs, with one task at a time, up to 25 loaded posts and 50 images. Video downloading and AI tagging are not included. Privacy Post files and reader metadata stay on your device. No developer cloud storage, analytics, subscriptions, or payment service. Chrome may sync extension settings when browser sync is enabled.
