PWA & Installability Inspector

)Overview
Audit any site for PWA installability — manifest, service worker, icons, offline & Fugu APIs — with actionable fixes.
PWA & Installability Inspector tells you — instantly — whether any website meets Chrome's Progressive Web App install criteria, and exactly what to fix if it doesn't. Click the icon on any site to get a clear verdict plus a full report: • Installability verdict — will Chrome's beforeinstallprompt fire? Every requirement checked off, with the reason for anything missing. • Manifest audit — per-field validation (name, start_url, display, scope, theme/background color, icons, id…) with concrete recommendations. • Icons — checks for 192px & 512px, maskable coverage, verifies icons actually load (no 404s) and that declared sizes match the real image. • Service worker — registration, scope, state, and whether it controls the page. • Offline readiness — checks service-worker control and whether start_url is in the cache. • Advanced Capabilities (Fugu) — shows which capability APIs the browser supports AND which the site actually uses. Fix it fast with built-in generators: • Export the current manifest, or generate a corrected one. • Build a full PWA icon set (including a maskable variant) from a single image. • Copy ready-to-paste snippets (manifest link, meta tags, a minimal offline service worker). Privacy first: everything runs locally in your browser. No analytics, no telemetry, no servers, no account. Nothing about you or the sites you inspect is ever collected or transmitted.
