Overview
Mass-unmatch Tinder matches based on configurable rules
Tinder Cleanup helps you mass-unmatch Tinder matches based on configurable rules, directly from your browser. DISCLAIMER: Use at your own risk. Unmatching is permanent and cannot be undone. The extension relies on data from Tinder's API, which may be incomplete or inaccurate. The authors accept no responsibility for lost matches, blocked accounts, or any other consequences. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open tinder.com and click the Tinder Cleanup icon to open the side panel 2. The extension passively captures your match data as Tinder loads it 3. Set your filter rules, hit Preview to see who matches, then Execute to unmatch IMPORTANT: The extension can only see matches that Tinder has loaded in your browser. To include older matches, scroll down through your match list on tinder.com before running a preview — each scroll loads more matches from Tinder's servers. Keep the Tinder tab in the foreground while the extension is running. Don't switch to a different tab in the same window and don't minimize the browser. Running in a background tab may trigger Tinder's automation detection. FILTER RULES (combine with AND logic) - Match older than X days — matches created more than X days ago - Inactive for X days — no message activity in the last X days - No reply in X days — you sent the last message more than X days ago - Empty — zero messages exchanged FEATURES - Preview before deleting — see exactly who will be unmatched, with names, photos, match dates, and which rules triggered - Selective unmatching — checkboxes let you deselect anyone you want to keep - Click any profile photo to open that conversation in Tinder - Staggered, randomised delays between unmatches (configurable, default 30–45s) - Session limits to prevent accidental mass-deletion (configurable) - Time estimate showing how long the current session will take - Refresh button to reload Tinder and capture fresh data - All API calls run through Tinder's own page context — indistinguishable from normal usage PRIVACY - All data stays local in your browser (chrome.storage.local) - No data is sent to any external server - No additional API calls to capture data — the extension only reads responses from requests Tinder already makes - Unmatch and browse actions use the same API endpoints and headers as Tinder's own UI
