Overview
GeoSwap parses freeform coordinates, detects formats, and converts between coordinate systems for geospatial workflows.
GeoSwap validates and visualizes geographic coordinates, no matter the order. Paste coordinates in almost any notation, see them pinned on an interactive map, resolve ambiguous coordinate ordering at a glance, and copy them in any format you need. Paste anything: GeoSwap parses Decimal Degrees, Degrees Decimal Minutes, DMS, MGRS, USNG, UTM, Plus Codes (Open Location Code), Geohash, GeoJSON, WKT, GARS, GEOREF, Maidenhead, and ECEF — including messy real-world notation variants (mixed symbols, hemisphere letters, missing separators). Never guess the order again: When input like "40.12, 74.12" could be latitude, longitude or longitude, latitude—GeoSwap shows both interpretations side by side on the map so you can instantly see which one you meant. Convert and copy: Every result can be copied in any supported format with one click — ready to paste into GIS tools, code, or documents. Private by design: Coordinates you enter are parsed entirely in your browser and never sent anywhere — the only network requests are to load map tiles. The only permission used is local storage, to remember your settings.
