How to Use: 1. Choose a Provider & Set Up Access: * Click the extension icon in the Chrome toolbar, then "Settings". * Pick a provider: Google Gemini or OpenRouter (enter your API key), or Chrome AI (on-device, no key needed). 2. Translate: * Select text on any webpage. * Either right-click and choose "Translate [selected text]" from the context menu. * Or, click the translation icon that appears near your selection (if enabled). * Alternatively, open the extension popup, type or paste text, and click "Translate". 3. Access Features: * History: Click the extension icon, then "History" to view past translations. * Study: Click the extension icon, then "Study" to access flashcards and word lists. * Settings: Customize target language, translation model, TTS, and other preferences. Getting a Google Gemini API Key: 1. Go to Google AI Studio (link above). 2. Sign in with your Google account. 3. Create a new API key. 4. Copy the API key. 5. Paste it into the "API Key" field in the extension's settings page. Privacy Policy: Your API key(s) and all translation data (history, study words) are stored locally in your browser's storage. The extension sends requests directly to your chosen provider (Google Gemini or OpenRouter) without any intermediary servers; with Chrome AI, translation runs entirely on your device.
