Gen TOC adds a slim, searchable table of contents to long AI answers and any page with headings, so you can see the structure at a glance and jump straight to the part you need. Built for AI chats On ChatGPT, Gemini and Grok, every prompt you send becomes a section, with the headings of the answer listed below it. Long conversations stop being an endless scroll. Features - A slim rail at the edge of the page that stays out of your way. Hover it to open the full list, or pin the panel to keep it open. - Highlights the section you are reading, on the rail and in the list. - Updates by itself as the page changes, even while an AI answer is still being written. - Filter box to find a heading fast. Matching ignores case and accents. - Keyboard shortcut: Alt+Shift+T (⌥⇧T on Mac) opens the list with the filter ready. Use ↑ ↓ and Enter to jump, Esc to close. - Works on articles, docs and blogs too, and follows the page's light or dark theme. - Sits on the left or the right, your choice. How to use 1. Open ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, or any page with headings. 2. Hover the rail on the right edge and click an entry to jump to it. 3. Click the toolbar icon to turn Gen TOC on or off for the current site, pick a side, or manage your sites. Gen TOC is on by default for ChatGPT, Gemini and Grok. Turn it on for any other site from the popup, or press the shortcut to show it once on any page. Privacy Gen TOC reads only the page's headings (and your own prompts on AI chat sites) to build the list, right in your browser. It makes no network requests, collects no data, and stores nothing but your settings.
