Gemini Eclipse: Pure Black OLED Theme

)Overview
True black OLED dark mode for Gemini. Every gray panel, menu and sidebar goes pure #000. Light, private, no tracking.
Gemini’s dark mode isn’t actually dark. It’s gray. Eclipse turns gemini.google.com true black (#000000), so on OLED and AMOLED screens those pixels switch off completely. Less glow at night. Less battery drain. Your code and text stand out against real black. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ★ WHAT ECLIPSE DOES • Turns every surface pure black: chat, sidebar, prompt box, code blocks, menus, dialogs and settings • Removes the bright color glow behind Gemini’s start screen • Adds a thin outline to menus, dialogs and code blocks, so they stay easy to see against the black • Keeps Gemini’s own fonts, layout and syntax colors. It looks like Gemini, just darker. • Works on every screen size: desktop, laptop and narrow windows ★ BUILT TO SURVIVE GEMINI UPDATES Google redesigns Gemini every few months, and most themes break when it does. Eclipse 2.0 was rebuilt from the ground up to last: • It themes Gemini through Gemini’s own design system instead of fragile class names • A built-in safety net spots any new gray panel Google adds and turns it black • Switch Gemini to Light theme and Eclipse steps aside. It only applies in Dark theme. ★ PRIVATE AND LIGHTWEIGHT • Collects no data. No analytics, no tracking, no ads, no account. • Runs only on gemini.google.com • Does nothing while you’re idle, and each check takes about a millisecond • Its only permission is “storage”, which remembers two settings: whether the support button is shown, and when to show the one-time “What’s new” note ★ HOW TO USE 1. Install Eclipse. 2. Open gemini.google.com. 3. Make sure Gemini is in Dark theme (Settings → Theme → Dark, or System if your computer is in dark mode). That’s it. Click the Eclipse icon in your toolbar to see what’s new in each version. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ♥ FREE, MADE BY ONE PERSON Eclipse is free and always will be. A small “$” button sits next to Gemini’s “+” button. Click it if you’d like to leave an optional one-time tip that pays for the time spent keeping Eclipse working through Gemini’s redesigns. You can hide the button anytime from the toolbar popup, and supporters can hide it for good with one click. Eclipse never nags. Apart from the button, the only notes it shows are a short “What’s new” after each feature update (never for small bug fixes) and a single “Enjoying Eclipse?” some days after you install it. Each shows once and disappears for good when dismissed. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ - Legacy description: Eclipse is a lightweight, pure-black OLED theme designed specifically for gemini.google.com. By forcing true #000000 backgrounds across the entire Gemini interface, this extension eliminates grey backgrounds, reduces eye strain during late-night coding or writing sessions, and saves battery life on devices with OLED and AMOLED displays. Features: • Pure black backgrounds for all chat containers, menus, and sidebars. • Responsive across all screen sizes (desktop, tablet, and mobile views). • Eliminates glaring gradients and input shadows. • Includes an unobtrusive, completely optional tip jar if you'd like to support the developer.
