GEMINI EXPORTER (MARKDOWN) Easily export answers from Gemini (https://gemini.google.com/app) as Markdown files with one click. WHAT IT DOES - Adds a floating "Download Markdown" split-button on the page. - **Deep Research Support**: Expertly handles long-form Deep Research reports, including full source lists and citations. - **Citations & Sources**: Automatically extracts and formats source links and footnotes, preserving original references. - **Math & LaTeX Support**: Seamlessly converts complex mathematical blocks and inline formulas into standard Markdown. - Flexible Export Options: • Select any part of the answer to export only the selection. • If nothing is selected, exports the entire visible answer area. - Faithful Conversion: Converts headings, tables, code blocks (with language detection), lists, images, and blockquotes. HOW TO INSTALL (FOR TESTING/LOCAL USE) 1) Open Chrome and go to More Tools > Extensions 2) Enable Developer mode 3) Click Load unpacked and select the folder with the extension (manifest.json) HOW TO USE 1) Open https://gemini.google.com/app 2) Make sure the answer area is visible and loaded 3) (Optional) Select the part you want to export 4) Click the Export Markdown button 5) A .md file will be downloaded automatically PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS - No extra permissions required - No data is sent anywhere TROUBLESHOOTING - If the button does not appear, ensure the page is fully loaded and the answer is visible - If formatting is not ideal, select the exact content you want and export again
