Gece Modu – Smart Dark Theme

Reads each site's CSS and recolors it by role: light sites go dark, already-dark sites are left alone (or flipped).

2 AM. The only light in the room is your screen. You click a link and… a pure white page shines a flashlight in your eyes. Gece Modu ("night mode" in Turkish) fixes that. It doesn't just invert the page. It reads the site's CSS, figures out what each color is for (background, text, border), and recolors each one separately. The site goes dark but still looks like itself. What it does: • Automatically darkens light websites. • Leaves already-dark sites alone, or turns them light if you prefer. • Finds and uses a site's own dark theme when it has one. • Lightens black text in logos while keeping brand colors. • Tones down product photos with white backgrounds. • Keeps borders and cards visible in dark mode. • Brightness, contrast and "warm tone" sliders (bye-bye blue light). • Per-site control: Auto / Dark / Light / Off. • Shortcut: Alt+Shift+D Privacy: Collects nothing, sends nothing.
