Overview
Accessibility focus inspection tool for keyboard navigation debugging
Revelio is a Chrome extension for developers and accessibility testers who need to understand how keyboard users actually experience a page. When you tab through a site, do you know what gets focused and in what order? Does focus jump unexpectedly? Are there elements that trap keyboard users, or interactive controls that are invisible to assistive technology? Most browser DevTools won't show you this clearly. Revelio will. FEATURES - Debug keyboard navigation — see exactly which elements receive focus, in order, as you tab through any page - Catch accessibility issues early — warning badges flag focusable elements with missing labels, incorrect roles, or other common WCAG failures before they reach production - Understand focus patterns at a glance — a heatmap overlay shows which elements receive the most focus across a session, helping you spot friction in your UI - Keep a record of your session — the built-in side panel logs every focus event with full element metadata, and lets you export the session as JSON or CSV - Work per-page or globally — settings can be applied site-wide and overridden per URL, so Revelio stays out of your way when you don't need it USAGE Open the popup to toggle Revelio on for the current tab, switch overlays, and reset the tab order counter. Open the side panel to inspect the focus history timeline, view element metadata, and export your session. Use the Options page for default settings and per-site overrides. Revelio stores all data locally in extension storage. No data leaves your browser.
