Overview

Check your I-140 for silent updates — USCIS activity your public status page never shows — through your own myUSCIS session.

Your case can be worked on without your public status ever changing. USCIS's internal record — the one your own myUSCIS account sees — still moves: the file's "last updated" timestamp gets touched, and coded events like FTA0 appear. None of it shows on the public status page. The community calls these silent updates. This extension checks for them. HOW IT WORKS • Opening the popup runs the check — through your own logged-in myUSCIS session, reading exactly what your account already sees. • Every distinct update is kept, append-only: a new touch never overwrites the last, so you build a timeline of when USCIS actually handled your file. • USCIS codes (FTA0 and friends) are shown as-is. We don't claim to know what any code means for your outcome — nobody outside USCIS does. • Between opens, a quiet background check runs every 15 minutes. It only succeeds while a myUSCIS session happens to be alive, and badges the icon "NEW" when it catches a change. It's a bonus, not a promise — the check you can rely on is the one you run by opening the popup. WHAT IT DOESN'T DO • It never sees your USCIS password — it rides the session you already opened, and stops working when myUSCIS logs you out (~5 idle minutes). No keep-alive tricks. • It stores data in your browser only: your receipt number and the last check's snapshot (ids, codes, timestamps). Names, addresses and documents are never persisted. Uninstall = everything deleted. • Nothing leaves your browser unless you connect sync (below). No analytics, no tracking, no ads. SYNC WITH NIWSTATS (OPTIONAL) If you track your case on NIWStats — the crowdsourced EB2-NIW outcomes site — you can connect the extension to your own case. You confirm once, signed in, on the NIWStats sync page; from then on each successful check adds the silent updates it saw to your case timeline. What syncs: silent updates (dates + codes), your public status and filing date, and case flags (premium processing, whether action is required, RFE/notice dates and types). Never your name, address, documents, attorney information, or credentials. Stop any time from the popup — that halts further sending and destroys the sync key on our side; updates already added to your case stay on it. Requires a myUSCIS account with an I-140 case visible in it. Not affiliated with USCIS. Not legal advice.
