Visualizer for Jira
Overview
Turn any JQL search into lists, trees, changelogs and flow reports — on the Jira Cloud site you already use.
Visualizer for Jira gives your own Jira Cloud site a second face: a full browser tab where any JQL search becomes something you can actually read. It runs entirely in your browser, on the Jira session you are already signed in with. There is no account to create, no API token to paste, and no server of ours between you and your data. WHAT IT DOES • Issue lists with the columns you pick — sort by any of them, filter what came back without going near Jira again, and keep scrolling rather than paging. Select rows and copy them out as a table that pastes into a spreadsheet with its columns intact. • A tree of whatever your search returned, nested by parent instead of listed flat. Epics with their stories, stories with their subtasks, expanded as deep as it goes — the shape of the work rather than a thousand rows in key order. • A changelog across the whole result set, grouped by day: every field change, who made it and when. The question a standup cannot answer — what actually happened last week — without opening thirty issues one at a time. • Flow analysis: a cumulative flow diagram built from the real status history of the issues you searched, with cycle and lead times from that same history, so the numbers and the picture cannot disagree. • A field dashboard. Pick a field and see the result set broken down by it — counts, proportions, and the issues behind each. Pick a second and you get the cross-tabulation: assignee against status, component against priority. • A JQL builder for people who would rather not write JQL. Choose from what the instance actually has and read the query it produces as you go. It works next to Jira's own query box too. • An issue panel inside Jira itself. Ctrl-click any issue key anywhere in Jira and it opens over the page — details, comments, history — without losing where you were. • Links that reopen the exact view. Every view writes itself into the address bar: the query, the page, the columns, the filters. Send the URL and whoever opens it lands on precisely what you were looking at. WHAT IT DOES WITH YOUR DATA Nothing leaves your browser. Issues are fetched from your own Jira site over HTTPS, using your existing session. Caches live in your browser profile, free text you type is encrypted before it is stored, and there is no analytics, no tracking and no third party. The extension is permitted to reach *.atlassian.net and nothing else. Not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Atlassian. Jira is a trademark of Atlassian.
