Overview

A forced cooldown before time-sink sites: a calm full-page timer with a quote, then a button to continue.

Pause puts a deliberate breath between you and the sites that eat your time. Add a site like instagram.com, youtube.com, or reddit.com, and the next time you open it you get a calm, full-screen cooldown instead of an instant feed. A warm gradient slowly washes up the page, a quote sits in the middle, and only when the timer finishes does a "Continue" button appear. If you didn't really mean to be there, the natural move is to just close the tab — which is exactly the point.
