Save recipes from any website to Forkful
**Forkful** is a companion browser extension for the Forkful desktop application. The extension allows you to save recipes from supported websites and send them directly to the Forkful desktop app installed on your computer. Forkful extracts and structures recipe information so it’s easy to store, search, and use later — without ads, clutter, or distractions. **Important:** The Forkful desktop application **must be installed** for this extension to function. The extension does not operate as a standalone tool and does not store recipes on its own. **What Forkful does** * Sends recipes from supported websites to the Forkful desktop app * Extracts structured recipe data (title, ingredients, instructions, source) * Works only when you actively click the extension * Keeps recipe capture simple and predictable **What Forkful does NOT do** * No ads * No social features * No background tracking * No cloud account required Forkful is designed for people who want a quiet, reliable way to collect recipes they find online and manage them locally using the Forkful desktop app. --- **Permissions** Forkful only accesses webpage content when you choose to save a recipe.
