Hive Chrome Extension connects your browser to Hive. Proof live websites. Open a live site inside a Hive proofing task, then comment on it where it lives. Hive loads the page in a protected frame, captures what you see, and keeps comments pinned to the page. Nothing changes on the site itself. Let Hive AI work in your browser. With Hive Desktop installed, Hive AI in Hive Desktop and Buzz can read and act in the tabs of the Hive tab group, to finish a task you gave it. • It works only in a tab group named "Hive" that it creates, or tabs you drag into that group. • A glowing outline and a Stop Hive button show on every page it controls. • Hive Desktop asks you before it acts on a site, unless you pre-approved that site. • While Hive AI works in a tab, Chrome shows its "started debugging this browser" bar on that tab. Press Cancel on the bar, or Stop Hive on the page, and Hive AI stops. • Hive Desktop is required. Without it, the extension does not act in your browser. • Administrators can turn browser control off for a whole organization with a Chrome policy. Proofing works the same with or without Hive Desktop.
