MinuteKeeper saves the live captions of your Microsoft Teams meetings while you meet, so you have a full, searchable transcript afterwards. It doesn't record audio, and nothing leaves your computer. HOW IT WORKS Join a Teams meeting in your browser and turn on live captions, or let MinuteKeeper turn them on for you. Every caption is kept with the speaker's name and the time it was said, and partial lines are merged into clean sentences. KNOW IT'S WORKING The toolbar icon shows the state at a glance: grey when nothing is being saved, a red dot while a meeting is being saved, and an amber dot if captions are off or can't be read. A notice on the Teams page tells you about a problem while there's still time to fix it. If Teams is installed as an app, a small badge on the page shows the same thing. DECISIONS AND ACTION ITEMS Mark the latest line as a decision or an action item with a keyboard shortcut during the meeting, or mark lines later in the transcript viewer. Then save a short summary of the meeting with its decisions and action items. YOUR TRANSCRIPTS • Save a transcript as a file, or copy it to paste elsewhere • Search all your saved meetings and jump to the exact line • Fix words captions often get wrong, and correct a speaker's name once for every meeting • Save automatically when the meeting ends • Back up all meetings to one file and restore them on another computer PRIVATE BY DESIGN Transcripts are stored only in your browser on your computer. There are no servers, no accounts, no analytics and no tracking. FOR ORGANIZATIONS Administrators can set defaults for everyone through browser policy.
