Powerful Note is a lightweight Chrome extension for saving notes and managing URLs while you browse. Key features: • Save selected text, links, page URLs, the current tab URL, or all open-tab URLs to customizable note groups. • Organize note groups from the Options page and optionally protect groups with a password. • Close duplicate tabs in the current window or across all browser windows. • Copy URLs from the current window or all browser windows. • Paste URLs from a .txt or .md file, or directly from the clipboard. • Keep only valid HTTP/HTTPS URLs and open each URL in a separate tab in the active window. • Clear clipboard content after processing URLs pasted from the clipboard. • Filter duplicate lines in any selected text file, keeping only the first occurrence. • Save the cleaned file using any filename and extension you choose. Privacy and permissions: • Tab access is used to read tab URLs for features you explicitly invoke. • Clipboard access is used only for the Copy URLs and Paste URLs actions. • Local file access is used only after you select a file for URL importing or duplicate-line filtering. • Notes and group settings are stored using Chrome Sync. • This extension does not use its own cloud server and does not upload your notes, URLs, clipboard contents, or local files. • The extension does not make remote API requests or include analytics/tracking. • Password-protected groups are a user-interface lock; note contents are not end-to-end encrypted by this extension.
