Tracks your Google Maps exploration and syncs it to your GazeMap heatmap.

GazeMap Tracker is the companion extension for GazeMap, a personal satellite heatmap of everywhere you've explored on Google Maps. As you browse Google Maps, the extension silently records your position and zoom level in the background. No clicking, no manual logging. Just browse naturally and your exploration builds up automatically. How it works Every time you pan or zoom in Google Maps, the extension reads your position from the URL and saves it to your GazeMap account. Open GazeMap and see your entire exploration history painted as a color-coded heatmap on a satellite map. Color coding by detail level • Green — areas you've seen at neighbourhood level • Orange — areas you've looked at more closely • Red — locations you've really zoomed into and studied Features • Automatic passive tracking — no interaction required • Syncs in real time to your GazeMap account • Works offline — queues data and syncs when connection returns • Toggle tracking on/off from the extension popup • Sign in with Google or email Privacy Your data is saved only to your personal Firebase account.
