Analyzes the code changes in the PR diff 2. Generates multiple-choice questions about the code changes 3. Displays a quiz in a sidebar on the PR page 4. Provides instant feedback with detailed explanations 5. Tracks your score to verify comprehension over time The questions test your understanding of: - Potential bugs or edge cases - The new code's security implications - Architecture and design implications - How changes will affect maintainability in the future HOW IT WORKS 1. Install the Gater.app Chrome extension and the Gater GitHub App from https://www.usegater.app/ 2. Open any GitHub Pull Request 3. A sidebar gently appears on the right edge of the page 4. Hover to expand the sidebar 5. Answer the quiz questions 6. Get immediate feedback on your understanding and review explanations 7. Upon acknowledging your understanding, the PR can be merged 8. Login into the "Admin" dashboard to customize settings or add your own Claude API key The extension is lightweight and only activates on GitHub PR pages. Your code is processed securely over HTTPS, and quizzes are generated using Claude AI. FREE PLAN: - Upgrade to Pro or add your own Claude API key to avoid hitting the monthly quiz-generation limit.
