In‑Page Toast Alerts Friendly toasts let you know “🐘 Ganesha ON” or “🐘 Ganesha OFF,” so you’re never guessing. 🛠️ How to Use Install & Enable Load Ganesha as an unpacked extension (or install from the Chrome Web Store once published). Under Site access, set “On all sites.” Toggle Protection Click the Ganesha elephant icon in your toolbar. Green icon + “🐘 Ganesha ON” toast = new‐tab blocking is active. Gray icon + “🐘 Ganesha OFF” toast = sites can open tabs normally. Surf as Usual With Ganesha ON, any attempt to open a new tab—JS, link target, form submit—will be redirected or closed. Want to whitelist a flow? Just toggle Ganesha OFF, complete your task, then switch it back ON. Why Ganesha? Because life’s too short to juggle unwanted tabs.
