Overview

Use your keyboard and mouse as a game controller in the browser, with ready-made layouts for 500+ Xbox Cloud Gaming games.

Gamepad Emulator lets you play browser games that expect a controller with your keyboard and mouse. It shows the page a virtual controller and presses its buttons when you press your keys. What it does • Works with Xbox Cloud Gaming (xbox.com/play). • Has a ready-made layout for each of the 500+ games in the Xbox Cloud Gaming catalog, picked automatically when you launch a game. • Lets you change any layout: click a control on the controller picture, then press a key or mouse button. • Keeps up to four custom layouts you can use in any game. • Names buttons the way you know them: Xbox, PlayStation, or generic. • Moves the camera with your mouse, with adjustable speed, response curve, and deadzone. • Steps aside in games that support keyboard and mouse on their own. You can turn it back on for those. How to use it • Open xbox.com/play, launch a game, and click the game to give it your mouse. • Esc gives the mouse back to your browser. • ` (backquote) switches the mouse between the camera and a cursor for game menus. • [ and ] make the camera slower or faster. • Click the extension's icon to see or change the layout for the game you're playing. Price • Free for your first 30 minutes of play. • After that, a one-time payment of $1.99, tax included, unlocks it for good. No subscription, and no account needed. • If it isn't right for you, email us within 30 days for a full refund. Privacy • Runs only on xbox.com/play. • Doesn't track you or what you play, and doesn't sell data. Your settings stay in your browser.
