GA4 UTM Channel Checker
Overview
Instantly predict GA4 Default Channel Grouping from UTMs. Detect errors and prevent Unassigned traffic before launch.
GA4 UTM Channel Checker lets you preview how GA4 will classify traffic based on your UTM parameters using GA4’s default channel grouping logic. Use it to quickly catch issues that can send traffic into Unassigned (for example: unfamiliar utm_source values, non-standard utm_medium values, or incomplete UTMs). What it does: -Supports two input modes: Full URL or Only UTMs -Parses common UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) -Suggests the likely GA4 channel classification (based on default rules) -Highlights why a rule matched (or why nothing matched) -Saves your preferred input mode locally for convenience Privacy: -No data is sent anywhere. -The extension does not collect, track, or transmit your URLs or UTMs. -It only stores a local preference (your selected input mode) using Chrome storage. Disclaimer: This extension is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
