Overview
G Drive helps you save files to Google Drive and returns a list of URLs so you can easily share them on Backlog as previews.
Guide Drive is a Chrome extension for software teams that track their work in Backlog and store their files in Google Drive. Its purpose is to remove the manual steps between “I have a file” and “this file is on the ticket”: you drop a file into the extension’s side panel, Guide Drive uploads it to your team’s Google Drive, and hands you back a shareable link to paste into the ticket. The upload is filed for you. Because the extension can see which Backlog ticket you are looking at, it creates or reuses a Drive folder for that ticket and puts the file there — so a year later the screenshots for a bug are still next to the bug, and nobody has to agree on a folder convention. It also captures the files in the first place: record your screen or take a screenshot from the browser, and the result goes through the same upload, naming, and filing flow. Pasted back into Backlog, those Drive links render as inline images and video players instead of bare URLs.
