Input Method Editor(IME) for ChromeOS and FydeOS, powered by RIME engine, developed by FydeOS team.

A redesigned Asian languages (CJK) Input Method Editor(IME) extension for chromeOS and your Chromebook, based on RIME, fully open source. Tests indicate that the current version (Q4 2025) of ChromeOS and ChromeOS Flex can still use the FydeRhythm input method, and the description of the chrome.input.ime API at https://developer.chrome.com/docs/extensions/reference/api/input/ime has not mentioned deprecation. It is important to note that the FydeRhythm input method can only be used as a keyboard input tool in desktop mode on ChromeOS / ChromeOS Flex; it cannot invoke the on-screen soft keyboard input in tablet mode.
