FullShot - Full Page Screenshot & Scrolling Screen Capture Tool
Overview
Full-page, scrolling, visible & region screenshots — then annotate with arrows, blur, text & crop. 100% local. PNG/JPG/PDF.
FullShot is a privacy-first screenshot tool that captures full-page (scroll & stitch), visible-area, and selected-region screenshots — then lets you annotate and redact them, right inside Chrome. Everything runs 100% locally on your device: activeTab-only, no account, no uploads. Save any result as PNG, JPG, or PDF. ━━━ WHAT YOU CAN DO ━━━ • Full page — scroll & stitch an entire webpage into one tall image, even long pages below the fold. • Scrolling / long pages — grab tall content far beyond the visible screen. • Visible area — one click to grab exactly what's on screen. • Selected region — drag a box to grab just the part you need. • Export as PNG, JPG, or multi-page PDF, or copy straight to the clipboard. • Local history — re-download your recent images any time. ━━━ ANNOTATE & REDACT (NEW) ━━━ After you capture, click Edit to mark up the image before you save: • Arrows, rectangles, ellipses and lines to point things out. • Text labels and a highlighter to call out what matters. • Blur / redact — mosaic over emails, card numbers or any sensitive info so it's gone in the exported file (not just hidden). • Numbered step badges for clean how-to guides. • Crop to the part you want to keep. • Select any object to move, resize, restyle or delete it — with full undo/redo. Annotations are flattened into your PNG, JPG, PDF or clipboard copy on export. It all runs locally, and it added no new permissions. ━━━ WHY FULLSHOT ━━━ Most tools stumble on modern pages. FullShot handles the hard parts: • Sticky/fixed headers show once at the top and are hidden below, so they never repeat down the image. • Lazy-loaded content is given time to render before each step. • Very tall or high-resolution pages are split cleanly instead of coming out blank. ━━━ PRIVATE BY DESIGN ━━━ • 100% local — every image is created and stored on your own computer. • No account, no sign-up, no analytics, no trackers, no servers. • Minimal permissions: activeTab means FullShot works only when YOU click it — with no "read all your data on all websites" access. ━━━ HOW TO USE ━━━ 1. Click the FullShot icon on any normal web page (or press Alt+Shift+P). 2. Pick a mode — full page, visible area, or a region you drag. 3. Optional: click Edit to annotate, blur/redact, or crop. 4. Save as PNG, JPG or PDF — or copy to the clipboard. Open Settings (the gear) to set your default format, image quality, and filename. ━━━ GOOD TO KNOW ━━━ • Protected browser pages (chrome:// settings, the Chrome Web Store, and built-in viewers) can't be captured by any extension. • Infinite-scroll feeds (e.g. the LinkedIn or X home feed) can't be fully saved by any tool, because the whole feed never exists at once — use Visible area or Selected region there.
