FullPageShot is a full-page screenshot extension for Chrome that automatically scrolls through the current webpage, captures each visible section, and combines them into one continuous image. There is no popup or extra confirmation step. Click the FullPageShot toolbar icon and capture begins immediately. ## ONE-CLICK FULL-PAGE CAPTURE Capture an entire webpage — not just the visible part of the browser window. FullPageShot automatically scrolls through the page, captures each section, and stitches the captured sections together into a complete screenshot. You can start a capture by: • Clicking the FullPageShot toolbar icon • Using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+Y on Windows/Linux or Command+Shift+Y on macOS • Right-clicking a webpage and selecting “Capture full page with FullPageShot” ## SMART CAPTURE During capture, FullPageShot: • Detects the full height of the webpage • Scrolls through the page automatically • Captures each visible section • Combines the captured sections into a single image • Hides repeated fixed or sticky elements after the first screen where possible • Prevents the FullPageShot progress interface from appearing in the final screenshot • Shows live capture progress on the webpage and toolbar icon A lightweight hamster animation lets you know that the capture is still running. ## BUILT-IN SCREENSHOT EDITOR After capture, the screenshot automatically opens in the FullPageShot results page. Edit your screenshot before saving it using: • Pen • Rectangle • Arrow • Highlight • Text • Blur / redact • Crop • Undo with Ctrl+Z Use Escape to exit an editing mode. Blur/redact permanently obscures the selected area in the exported image, making it useful when screenshots contain information you do not want to share. ## CROP Select only the portion of the captured webpage you want to keep. After Crop is applied, the cropped image becomes the new working image. ## WATERMARK Add an optional watermark containing: • The source webpage URL • The capture date and time The watermark can be enabled or removed before export. ## DOWNLOAD AND EXPORT Save captures in several convenient ways: • Download as PNG • Download as JPEG when JPEG is selected in Settings • Copy the screenshot directly to your clipboard • Export the screenshot as PDF ## SMART PDF PAGE SPLITTING When exporting a long screenshot to PDF, FullPageShot attempts to place page breaks between webpage elements rather than cutting directly through cards, paragraphs, sections, or other visible content. Before capture begins, FullPageShot analyzes the live webpage for suitable spacing around expected PDF page-break locations. When a suitable nearby gap exists, the PDF break is adjusted to that gap. For very dense layouts where no suitable nearby gap is available, FullPageShot falls back to a standard page break. ## CAPTURE HISTORY Your recent captures can be accessed through the All Captures view. From there, you can review or delete locally stored captures. You can also right-click the FullPageShot toolbar icon and select “View all captures.” ## SETTINGS FullPageShot provides settings for: • Screenshot image format • Capture speed Settings are available from the results page and from the extension toolbar context menu. ## PRIVACY-FOCUSED FullPageShot does not require an account. Screenshot capture, stitching, editing, cropping, watermarking, and export are performed locally in your browser. Captured webpage content is not uploaded to FullPageShot-operated servers. FullPageShot accesses webpage information only as needed to perform user-requested screenshot functionality and related features. ## KNOWN LIMITATIONS Chrome extensions cannot capture every possible webpage structure perfectly. Examples include: • Very long infinite-scroll pages that load additional content after capture begins • Nested scrollable panels • Cross-origin iframe content that extensions are not permitted to inspect or control • Unusual horizontally scrolling webpage layouts • Chrome internal pages and other protected browser pages Smart PDF splitting attempts to avoid awkward page cuts when suitable spacing exists, but very dense webpage layouts may require a normal page break.
