Overview

Capture the visible area, or scroll the whole page (or a panel inside it, like Gmail) and stitch it into one image.

Take a picture of a whole web page, not just the part you can see. Press the button and choose. "Capture visible area" takes the screen in front of you. "Capture full page" scrolls to the bottom, photographs every screen on the way down, and stitches them into one tall image. The result opens in its own tab. See the whole page at a glance or at full width, copy it straight to the clipboard, or download it as PNG or JPEG. Built narrow on purpose. Most screenshot extensions ask to read and change your data on every website you visit. This one asks for two things: the single tab whose button you clicked, and permission to scroll that one tab. It has no access to any site until you press the button there, and none once you navigate away. It cannot see your other tabs, your cookies, your history or your downloads. It makes no network connection of any kind. There is no fetch, no remote script, no analytics and no account. Your screenshots are stitched in your own browser and stay on your own computer unless you save them. It also captures panels that scroll inside a page, which is how Gmail, most mail clients, chat apps and admin consoles are built. When the document itself does not scroll, the scrolling panel is captured and cropped to itself, so the surrounding navigation and toolbars are left out. Handles the things that usually go wrong: sticky headers that would otherwise be re-photographed onto every screen, pages that scroll smoothly, hi-dpi displays, and pages tall enough to exceed what a single image can hold. The full source is short, readable and unminified.
