Capture an entire web page in one click. Works offline, no account needed, and nothing you capture ever leaves your browser. Take a picture of a whole web page — not just the part you can see — with one click. Most screenshot tools stop at the bottom of your screen. Full Page Screenshot keeps going: it scrolls the page for you, photographs it as it goes, and joins the pieces into one tall image of the entire page, top to bottom. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open any web page. 2. Click the Full Page Screenshot button in your toolbar. 3. The page scrolls itself while a small progress card shows how far along it is. When it finishes, your screenshot opens in a new tab. From there you can save it as a PNG file or copy it straight to your clipboard and paste it into a document, an email or a chat. EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR COMPUTER This extension makes no network requests at all. Not for analytics, not for error reporting, not for anything. Your screenshots are built in your browser's memory, shown to you in a tab, and saved to your own computer if you choose to save them. They are never uploaded anywhere. That means it works with no internet connection, it needs no account and no sign-in, and there is nothing to configure before you use it. You can verify all of this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, watch the Network tab, and take a screenshot. Nothing appears. IT HANDLES THE AWKWARD PAGES Long pages are the easy part. These are the parts that usually go wrong, and what this extension does about them: • Headers and menus that follow you down the page are set aside during the capture, so they appear once where they belong instead of being stamped across every screen. • Floating chat buttons and cookie banners are handled the same way, including ones that only appear once you start scrolling. • Images that only load when you scroll to them are loaded first, so you get the pictures instead of empty grey boxes. • The join between one screenful and the next is worked out from where the page actually landed, so the bottom of a long page does not come out with a repeated band of content. • High-resolution and zoomed displays are measured rather than guessed at, so the image is sharp and correctly proportioned either way. • Pages taller than the largest image your browser can build are handled gracefully, with a plain explanation of what was captured rather than a silent failure. WHEN IT WILL TELL YOU IT CANNOT HELP Some pages genuinely cannot be captured in full, and this extension says so plainly rather than handing you a broken image: • Browser settings pages and the Chrome Web Store itself, which Chrome blocks all extensions from reading. • Apps that keep their content in a panel that scrolls on its own rather than scrolling the whole window — most webmail and chat apps work this way. Only what is on screen exists to be photographed, so a full-page capture is not possible. PERMISSIONS This extension asks for two permissions and no others. "Read and change your data on the site you are on" covers both of them, and in this case it means: when you click the button, the extension is allowed to photograph that one tab, scroll it, and briefly set aside floating elements. Permission arrives when you click and applies only to that tab. It cannot see your other tabs, your history, or any site you have not asked it to capture.
