Overview

Capture a whole web page as one PNG. Scrolls, stitches, saves. Runs on your computer: no account, no upload, no tracking.

Capture an entire web page — not just the part you can see — as a single PNG file. Click the icon and the extension scrolls through the page, takes one shot per screen, and stitches them into one tall image. You get a tab with the result, a Save button and a Copy button. That is the whole product. WHAT IT DOES WELL • Sticky headers and cookie bars appear once, at the top, instead of repeating down the whole image. • Images that load only when you scroll to them are loaded first, so the screenshot is not full of grey placeholders. • Retina and scaled displays come out at full resolution. The pixel density is measured from the capture itself, not assumed. • Very long pages are handled: past the maximum size a browser canvas can hold, the image is scaled to fit and the result tab tells you so. • Alt+Shift+P for the whole page, Alt+Shift+V for just what is on screen. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO • No account. No sign-in. No subscription. • No servers. The image never leaves your computer — there is no upload, because there is no code in this extension that can reach the internet at all. • No analytics, no tracking, no ads, no reading of the pages you visit. PERMISSIONS, AND WHY THERE ARE ONLY TWO This extension asks for no websites. It uses "activeTab", which means it is allowed to touch one page only, only after you click its button, and only until you navigate away. That is why Chrome shows you no permission warning when you install it. KNOWN LIMITS, STATED UP FRONT • Pages that scroll inside an inner panel instead of the page itself will only capture what is on screen. The page's own height really is one screen. • Pages longer than 60 screens are refused with a message rather than returned as an unreadable, heavily downscaled image. • On endless feeds the capture is the page as it was, not the entire feed. • Chrome does not allow any extension to run on chrome:// pages, the Chrome Web Store, or other extensions' pages. • PDFs opened in Chrome's viewer support the visible-area capture only.
