Capture supports free full-page and responsive viewport screenshots, plus Pro visible-screen and selected-area capture. After capture, add arrows, boxes, highlights, text, blur, pixelation and numbered callouts. For review work, Capture can organize screenshots into local projects, compare before/after versions, highlight visual differences, create review reports and build step-by-step SOPs or guides. Screen recording is an opt-in Beta, off until enabled. Recordings stay on the device. The microphone is used only if you turn it on. No recording data is sent to our servers. Incognito works only if you allow Capture in that window. Screenshots, history and recordings made in an Incognito window stay there and are removed when the window closes. Settings and sign-in are shared with the normal profile, so signing out in Incognito signs out everywhere. Privacy is a core design principle. Normal screenshot capture, stitching, annotation, crop, blur, pixelate, comparison, copy and export do not require the screenshot image to be uploaded to RATdeck for processing. No recording data is sent to our servers. Account, subscription, team, feedback, referral/reward and download-quota data use the RATdeck service when those features are used. The optional Pro Share Link action first shows an in-product disclosure and asks for affirmative consent. If accepted, it uploads two images containing only the currently selected Before and After frame to private RATdeck storage so the user can send an opaque link. Anyone given that link can view the comparison. It expires after seven days and can be revoked sooner to delete the uploaded images. Canceling sends nothing. Local comparison, difference viewing and export do not upload screenshots. Free includes Full Page and responsive preset capture, annotation and unlimited Copy Image with no watermark and no ads.
