Why does Chrome say it is being debugged while saving? A. To capture sharply, it uses Chrome's debugging feature (chrome.debugger) on the tab being saved only, and disconnects as soon as it is done. Q. What can't be saved? A. Chrome's settings, the Chrome Web Store and other places where extensions can't run. Q. Is anything sent anywhere? A. No. See Privacy below. Privacy Images, PDFs, content and URLs are never sent anywhere, including our own servers. No analytics, ads or external scripts. Files are saved only to your Downloads folder. The browser keeps only your last settings, the progress of the current save, and how many High (2x) captures you used today (to count the free limit).
