Full Page Capture
Overview
Capture an entire web page as one image, keep it in a local library, export selections as a ZIP.
Full Page Capture takes a screenshot of an entire web page, not just the part you can see, and keeps every capture in a library stored on your own machine. HOW IT WORKS Click the toolbar icon on any page, or press Alt+Shift+P. The page is scrolled and captured a screen at a time, then stitched into a single image. Progress is shown while it works, and you can close the popup without cancelling it. The library opens when it is finished. In the library, click captures to select them, shift-click for a range, then download the selection as one ZIP file. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO This extension makes no network requests. There is no analytics, no telemetry, no account, and no licence check. Your screenshots are never uploaded anywhere. It requests no host permissions, so Chrome will never warn you that it can read and change your data on the sites you visit. It can only act on the single tab whose toolbar button you clicked, and that access expires as soon as you navigate away. It contains no third-party code, no bundled libraries, and no remote scripts. Everything in the package is readable source. DETAILS - Sticky headers and fixed sidebars are handled properly, so they appear once rather than repeating down the image or being cut off partway. - Page zoom and high-DPI displays are measured from the capture itself, so output stays sharp and correctly proportioned. - Very tall pages are split into multiple images automatically, because a browser canvas has a size limit. - PNG or JPEG output, with a configurable filename template. - Optional auto-download after each capture, and optional auto-delete of captures older than a set number of days. KNOWN LIMITATIONS Requesting no host permissions has a cost, and these are deliberate: - Local file:// pages are not supported. - Cross-origin iframes are captured as they appear on screen, rather than scrolled independently. - Chrome itself blocks all extensions on chrome:// pages, the Web Store, devtools, and other extensions' pages. - There is no annotation editor and no PDF export.
