Stopwatch-based focus tool for tabs with inactivity resets.
Block distracting sites with an active stopwatch timer. Override blocks by typing a motivational quote to prove your intent. Reclaim your attention with Frosted Focus. Most site blockers are rigid and unfair. They block you based on the clock on the wall, penalizing you even if you only spent 2 minutes on a site. Frosted Focus is different. We use an Active Stopwatch system. Your "Allowance Time" only ticks down when you are actually looking at the distracting tab. Keep a video playing in the background while you work? Your time won't drain. When your time is up, the site is "Frosted" with an opaque overlay and a cooldown timer. The Friction Challenge: Sometimes you really need to access a blocked site for work, or you genuinely want to remove a site from your blocklist. Instead of a simple "Delete" button that makes cheating too easy, Frosted Focus requires "Proof of Intent." To override a block or defrost a site, you must manually type out a randomly selected motivational quote about focus. No copy-pasting allowed. By the time you finish typing, your prefrontal cortex is engaged, and you've had a moment to ask yourself: Is this really what I want to be doing right now? Key Features: Active Time Tracking: Only counts down when the tab is visible and active. Fair Cooldowns: Allow a specific amount of usage (e.g., 30 mins) followed by a strict cooldown period (e.g., 60 mins). Inactivity Resets: Close the tab and walk away? Your timer will automatically reset after your cooldown period expires in the background. Anti-Cheat Overlay: Blocks the page instantly upon loading, preventing "quick peeks." Usage Dashboard: See exactly how much time you have left for your current site right from the popup. Motivation by Friction: Bypass challenges require you to type motivational quotes to break the mindless scrolling loop. Stop managing your time, and start managing your focus.
