Overview

Fills the job applications you open from Frontrunner, and sends the LinkedIn requests and messages you approve there.

Frontrunner finds the jobs worth your time and the people who hire for them. This extension does two things for you from the Frontrunner web app, the same way the Frontrunner phone app does: it fills in the job applications you open, and it reaches the people who hire on LinkedIn, from your own LinkedIn account. Apply with assist • Choose Apply with assist on a job in Frontrunner. The job's application form opens in a new tab with a Frontrunner panel on the right: your CV, your details and the answers you gave before, each one click to put into the form or to copy. • The form is filled in from your Frontrunner profile as it loads; answers Frontrunner was not sure of are outlined for you to check, and "For you" walks you to the fields that still need you. • You press the form's own Submit. Nothing is ever submitted for you. When the form shows it went, Frontrunner records the application. • The first time, Chrome asks you to allow Frontrunner on job sites. It runs only in the tabs you open from Frontrunner for Apply with assist. Reaching people on LinkedIn • You choose Power Apply on a job in Frontrunner and press Send for the people it found. • While the Frontrunner web app is open, the extension opens a small window in the corner of your screen and, using the LinkedIn sign-in already in your browser, sends the connection request or message you approved. The window shows what is being sent while it works and closes when it is done. • It reads only the LinkedIn pages it needs: the job's page and the people's profiles (to find who hires), your sent invitations and recent connections (to confirm what went and who accepted), and your message list (to notice replies). • It tells Frontrunner whether each one went, so your application timeline is up to date. What it does not do • It sends nothing you did not approve in Frontrunner, at most the daily limit you see in the app. • It never sends your LinkedIn password or sign-in to Frontrunner. • On LinkedIn it does nothing in your own LinkedIn tabs. On job sites it runs only in the application tabs you open from Frontrunner, never on other sites you visit. Setup: after adding it, open the extension's Details page in chrome://extensions and turn on "Allow User Scripts" — the app shows you where. Requires a Frontrunner account (jobsfrontrunner.com).
