Frisket
Overview
Record a tab, window, or screen and save a WebM on this computer. No account.
Frisket records a browser tab, a window, or the whole screen and saves a WebM file on your computer. You pick the source, turn the microphone on if you want it, and Frisket counts down from three. Pause, resume, or stop from the panel. You can close the panel while a take is running. When you stop, you save the file through Chrome’s own downloads. Nothing is uploaded. There is no account and no watermark. Free recordings stop at 10 minutes. Pro is EUR 19, paid once. - No time limit - Trim the start and the end before the file is saved - Frisket remembers the folder and the file-name pattern you used last Licence checks are not connected in this version. A key you type stays on this device and is not sent anywhere. The file is a WebM. Chrome and Edge play it. The folder Frisket chooses is a folder inside your downloads. Chrome does not let an extension pick a folder outside downloads unless you use the browser’s own save dialog, and this version saves directly so the take is not lost. Benefits: - The recording stays on this computer. No account, no watermark, no upload. - Tab, window, or the whole screen, with the microphone if you want it. - Pro is a single payment of EUR 19: no time limit, trim the start and the end, and your file name is remembered.
