FreshView for YouTube™ hides watched video cards so you can discover fresh content faster. It uses the watch-progress bars YouTube already shows and keeps your preferences on your device. MAKE YOUR FEED YOUR OWN • Choose the minimum watched percentage (90% by default). • Control filtering on Home, Subscriptions, You/Library, History, Channels and Explore. • Separate controls for recommendations, search results and individual videos in playlists. • Save an on/off preference for an exact page with page locks. A CLEARER INTERFACE, IN YOUR LANGUAGE • Redesigned popup and responsive settings. • System, Light and Dark appearance modes. • Automatically follows the browser interface language: English, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. English is the fallback. • Keyboard-friendly controls, visible focus and reduced-motion support. GET STARTED Open desktop YouTube, open FreshView and enable Hide Videos. Filtering is off by default and History is excluded by default. Cards without a usable progress bar remain visible. Shorts, advertisements and playlist summary cards are not filtered. Page locks respect excluded page types. WHAT'S NEW IN 3.2.1 Includes the refreshed interface, automatic translations and theme improvements from 3.2.0, fixes popup sizing in Firefox, and uses separate Chrome and Firefox background manifests. Incremental processing avoids unnecessary rescans and restores cards reliably as YouTube reuses them. Existing preferences are preserved. PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS Preferences and page locks stay in local browser storage. FreshView does not retrieve your account history, collect telemetry or send browsing data to a server. Storage saves your preferences; access to HTTPS youtube.com and www.youtube.com enables filtering and page-specific controls. All extension scripts and fonts are packaged locally.
