I love this extension! I've tried a few tab managers and this is the best one. It has so many features. There are keyboard shortcuts, you can save tab groups, you can save articles, there are a bunch of different sorting options. I would definitely recommend it!!!

This ist total Garbage. Do not install this!!! Programm is outdated and knows nothing of tab groups. This will destroy your data instead of saving it.

Freezetab definitely won't "destroy your data", is 100% aware of tab groups, and certainly isn't outdated. It has received 5 updates in the past month, the most recent of which (version 2.0.4) was released two days ago on October 30th. Managing tab groups was one of the major features added in version 2.0.0 (released on September 29th). In fact, the first screenshot in the Chrome Web Store listing depicts tab groups being saved. You either need to restart Chrome to update the extension, or you're purposefully spreading misinformation. Unfortunately Google admits that they don't "verify the authenticity of reviews and ratings", which is why these unhelpful reviews are allowed to proliferate.

After the update (09.29.23), it's terrible. I am an invalid, I worked with one hand with a mouse. It was a good app. Now I want to call you a swear word.

Up until Yesterday, this was a must have extension. On September 29th the developers updated the UI and added many new features. Here's the thing, I loved the old UI. Updating an extension is not something that can be faulted, however compared to pre-update this extension lost its simplicity that made it great. This new version is not something I am interested in so I will stop using it. Even so, I would like to request the devs to add a toggle to downgrade or a seperate version of the old ex... Show more

I'm sorry you didn't like the update Bartholomew. There are no plans to fully revert to the old ui but here are some tips for using the new version: Font size/Readability - you can open the popup in a new tab and increase the font size the same way you would with any normal website (by click Command + on a mac or Ctrl + on Windows). I've even added a keyboard shortcut to quickly open the popup in a new tab. Please open the menu in the top right corner of the extension for more information. Quick/Instant save - there's a keyboard shortcut to quickly save all of your open tabs once the extension's popup is open. Again, all of the keyboard shortcuts are listed in the menu that sits in the upper right corner of the extension.

PLEASE BEWARE that this extension will close ALL your open tabs when you install it. You might LOSE important work if you are not careful. Absolutely horrendous user experience. I can't even comprehend why someone thought that it would be a good idea to make closing active tabls a default behavior.

This is pretty good, but chrome already gives you the ability to add tabs to collapsible groups. That combined with session buddy (toby is good, but session buddy is better) do most of what this does, this is just in a prettier package. The one thing session buddy has that this doesn't is in session buddy, you can click on the current session, & click on an individual tab to switch to that tab. This simply opens it again in a new tab 1 point for session buddy. If this had that & the ability t... Show more
