Save tabs into focused local workspaces, switch an entire window in one step, and keep your browsing library under your control. FreeSpace offers fast search, Chrome tab groups and pins, protected workspaces, backups, imports, and local recovery. SUBSCRIPTION DISCLOSURE FreeSpace is a subscription product. Installing from the Chrome Web Store has no upfront charge, but productive workspace actions require an active 30-day trial, paid subscription, or temporary Chrome Web Store reviewer access. Eligible new customers in supported US regions can start one 30-day trial per PayPal account. The first release uses a $1.99 USD monthly base price plus applicable seller-collected tax. When available in a supported US region, FreeSpace shows the exact amount due today, tax, recurring total, trial conversion, and cancellation terms before sending you to PayPal for approval. Reinstalling does not grant a second trial. You can stop future renewal in Plan → Cancel renewal or through PayPal. Confirmed cancellation preserves access through the verified trial or paid-through end. After access ends, the same eligible PayPal account may start a new paid monthly agreement without another trial; this does not reactivate the canceled agreement. Save the automatically downloaded one-time recovery-code file before canceling or removing FreeSpace so you can reconnect existing access. A used code is replaced. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Create unlimited local workspaces and save tabs, subject to device storage. • Capture a Chrome window, restore or switch its tabs, and search saved and open tabs. • Organize tabs with Chrome groups, colors, and pins; move or copy selected tabs between workspaces. • Protect selected workspaces with local password-based encryption. • Recover recently closed tabs and windows, deleted workspaces from local Trash, and earlier workspace snapshots. • Export portable JSON backups, import supported tab lists, bookmark files, OneTab 2.18 lists, and Session Buddy v3/v4 JSON after a local preview. • Use one subscription on up to three Chrome profiles through a private recovery code. • Optionally enable Chrome Sync for a compressed backup; it is off by default. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Workspace names, tabs, URLs, titles, notes, groups, passwords, backups, and Trash remain in Chrome extension storage on your device. Optional site access is requested only when you apply a saved title to a live tab. The hosted entitlement service stores minimal pseudonymous account, activation, subscription, regional decision, and access records; it does not receive workspace content or payment credentials. PayPal processes payment. FreeSpace has no separate account password, analytics, ads, trackers, or remote code. When access ends, local workspace information stays readable. You can unlock or relock protected workspaces, export permitted data, delete local data, manage billing, and reach support. FreeSpace does not delete local data when a trial or paid period ends. A forgotten workspace password cannot be recovered. Chrome 114 or newer is required.
