Overview
Track time spent working on client sites and export PDF reports.
Overview Freelance Timer is a clean, automatic time-tracking Chrome extension for freelancers and developers. It monitors how long you spend on each website or web app, organizes that data by domain, and generates polished PDF reports (complete with favicons, session times, and total durations). You can: - See your current active session and total tracked time across all sites. - View live timers for each domain you’ve visited. - Select or exclude certain sites for reporting. - Download or reset all session data with one click. - Export a visual PDF summary that looks client-ready, branded with your logo and color palette. Tracking happens automatically—no manual start/stop buttons—and works across all normal browser tabs. Key Features - Auto-tracking: Monitors time on any website you visit (except system/chrome pages). - Smart grouping: Combines all URLs from the same domain into a single project line. - Live dashboard: Shows your current active site, total duration, and session details. - PDF reports: Professionally formatted reports including favicons, domain names, and durations, ideal for sharing with clients. - Selective export: Include or exclude any domains via checkboxes. - Dark & light themes: Interface adapts to system theme with subtle gradients and clean typography. - Local storage: Keeps data private—everything is saved locally in chrome.storage.local.
