Overview

Auto-claims free Steam games in the background using your existing browser session. No password, no cookie access, no server.

Automatically claims limited-time free Steam games and DLC in the background, using the Steam session already in your browser. No password, no access to your login cookie, no server. 🔒 WHY IT'S SAFE • Reuses your browser session: once you're signed in to Steam, your browser attaches your session to requests to the Steam store. FreeKeep only sends the same request as Steam's "Add to Account" button. • Can't read your credentials: Steam protects its login cookie with the HttpOnly flag, so no extension can read it. FreeKeep doesn't request the cookies permission either. • No server: FreeKeep has no backend and doesn't upload or collect any data. • Verifiable: the extension's Details page in Chrome shows only notifications and access to the Steam store. The source code is public. MANY AUTO-CLAIMERS vs FREEKEEP ❌ Require your password or login cookies → ✅ Not needed ❌ Open a store tab for each game → ✅ A single background request, no tabs ❌ Run on a server or bot → ✅ Runs only in your browser ❌ Send data to the developer's server → ✅ No server, no analytics, no tracking FEATURES • Claims only genuine limited-time free-to-keep promotions; demos, playtests and free-to-play games are excluded • Skips games you already own and claims DLC only if you own the base game • Uses your Steam store region, so it claims only what's free in your region • Checks every 1, 3, 6, 12 or 24 hours, and at browser startup • Claims automatically, or asks you first • Notifies you only when a game is claimed or needs your attention • Optional Epic Games Store reminders: tells you about Epic's free games so you can claim them on Epic's site. Off by default; the public list is read without signing in • 12 languages, about 40 KB of code, no dependencies Sign in to the Steam store in this browser and FreeKeep runs automatically. Not affiliated with Valve Corporation or Epic Games. Steam is a trademark of Valve Corporation. Source code and privacy policy: https://github.com/SmailDot/FreeKeep-for-Steam
